I don't have faith in Richardson and Bell. I forgot about Bernard.

There isn't outstanding trade value for a guy like Williams but there's always a desperate team in mid-season (searching for a good rushing attack).

A good rushing attack begins with the offensive line. The problem is and will remain the contract. Hurney screwed us and then basically blocked us from being able to trade him. I personally am more of a Stewart fan but until our oline shows up, we are the ones who will need a rushing attack.

How about Gettis?

Any value in Gettis? Probably not.

I'm a no to trade Hardy. I'm sorry, but the intensity and drive he has that has infected this team would not be good lined up across from us. If we can generate a strong pass rush, rotating, keeping guys fresh, we can win games. You win championships with D. (the majority of the time) We should carry 2 Qbs and use roster spot to keep nzegwu or someone to contribute on special teams, not hold a clipboard. We have enough weapons to score, despite people's belief. We need our best rushers puttin pressure on the QB. He is too valuable to me.

We only have a few players that would really get us a quality lineman, and unless your thinking Hardy as bait (cause cam and luke aren't going anywhere), Tough call..excellent DE for OL swap.otherwise we have nothing else except got backup help Maybe. In that case, wait till cuts.

If Armanti and Gettis are actually doing as well as we're hearing, is Ginn still important to the team? If not, he's a receiver who knows the 49ers playbook and can currently walk, which is better than most of their other options. I can see us snagging a late-round pick for him.

Ginn is by far the best return man

And Ginn made more plays in camp and preseason with Cam than Gettis...

But none of those guys have trade value

He wants to be the highest paid safety in the nfl.
His franchise tag was worth eight million this year and he didn't want to sign it.
He's basically the mike Wallace of safeties.

Pass.

Agree, I would rather focus on stackin the D-line so we can rotate guys and keep them fresh, and try to generate as much pressure as we can and get our hands on the QB than payn big bucks for a safety. Make the QB make some bad decisions, force him to throw early, not allow him to go thru progressions or see the field and put some athletic DBs that can run around and make some plays. (Norman, Cap, Moore, Thomas, Godfrey, and Mitchell)

only difference is one is actually a complete player,  grading out as the top 5 FS like 3 years in a row.he is 26 years old and is a ball hawk, last year he had 5 ints and 4 ff alone.

Fair enough, but where do we get 8 mil per year to sign him?
