ESPN Offensive Rank - #71 - Steve Smith

Smith has 11,452 career receiving yards, all with the Panthers. Only five players in NFL history have more career receiving yards while playing for only one team.

Minus the obvious crap ranking for Cam Newton, #71 seems to be a good spot for Steve and shows that at his age, he still garners national respect.

 

I'm thinking next year's rankings, Cam vaults up 90 spots while Steve moves up 20. That's how great Cam will be this coming year.

About right IMO. Being in the slot + a big year from Cam, and I could actually see him moving up for next year.

 

Cam's ranking is still just a complete troll job though.

Since we are only talking offense, that's still much too low. But espn doesn't really go off talent, they go off popular players on popular teams.
