Wes Horton

He has a very good chance of making the 53. Kearse hasn't done anything, so we may keep 5 DEs instead of 5 DTs.

Thinking about keeping Fua and releasing Horton makes me throw up.

I know we are so deep with Keiser and Applewood, right? Oh wait, those were the scrubs we had last year that we were so happy to have as back-ups.

Applewood? Is this a new resturant in GA?

He means, Applewhite.  I think Horton has looked better than Mario Addison, however.

I like Horton but I'm still confused over the Nzegwu cut. He was getting to the QB more effectively than Wes.

Not from what I saw. Horton and Nzegwu both appeared on par against the run.

Do not discuount Roh, although he seems like a prime candidate for the PS.  I think he showed more than Addison too.

If we keep 5 DEs, could they be CJ, Hardy, Alexander, Horton, and Roh?

Another point--Alexander is a tremedous dropoff from Hardy.  We need Hardy.  Pay him.

Roh has most definitely not shown more. Craig has almost appeared nonexistent at times. If I had to rank the back up DEs this preseason via performances:

Alexander
Addison
Nzegwu
Horton
Roh

I guess we saw different things.  I saw Horton hold the edge consistently on every run play.  He was really good at using his hands and never and kept outside integrity pretty much all the time.   Did not see the same with Nzegwu but apparently you saw it differently.

I did. While he did get blown up and washed out on some plays, Louis was one of the few players who made an impact on the defensive side of the ball against The Eagles (our worst game in the preseason).

Horton looks like a coach's dream. Addison is versitile and fast as seen on special teams..he will blow up folks.
I would love to see Horton make it over a 5th DT.
