haha i hate to keep griping about this because i'm not trying to come down on anyone, but here goes another one, locking a colt mccoy thread for no reason other than "five pages is enough for colt mccoy"
not intended as a dig at rayzor at all, easily a top 5 poster and i'm sure i couldn't do the job, but locking threads for no reason is worse than locking them for bad reasons. locked threads look like poo on a page. overmodding sucks. IMO what's made this forum so successful is mods speaking softly but carrying big sticks: they are neither seen nor heard insofar as their muscle-flexing and general powers of banning/locking go, but they effectively end the idiocy before it goes too far.
in summation: thread lock after thread lock is just a downer man. it's the internet, threads will derail, tangents will be forged, threads will ramble on endlessly. let's embrace it.
