Stop making things up again.  I didn't say they were buddy buddy. I don't have a clue about what they say privately to each other.  That is the point. I called you out because you acted as if they weren't close and Gettleman didn't want Rivera and was forced to take him.  I called BS and you have no evidence to back out your claims.  Everything else is just you getting all butt hurt and trying to save some sort of face here.

Just let it go until you have some evidence to the contrary and then present it. Othrwise you are going from wrong to ridiculous.

Not "butt hurt" about anything.

I didn't say they were or weren't close, I just said that new GM's usually mean new coaching staffs, and I fully expect that to happen.

And how on Earth am I wrong or ridiculous?  I'm simply stating what usually happens.

Again, not saying that it will, just that it's very tough to think otherwise.

P.S. where is your proof that DG wants to keep RR around long term?  Contract extension.....bringing in coaches on anything other than 1 year deals.....anything?

Only think I'm angry about is your personal attacks when you don't agree with a post.

Instead of getting shitty and childish about it, why not explain how you derive your opinion, instead of just saying, "Well, that has no evidence to back it up and you're stupid for posting such a thing and, ...and..."

It's all I'm saying...

Who attacked you personally or is acting childish but you?  I said that you have no evidence to back up your opinion and until you show said evidence am right.  Otherwise present it. How is that childish and shitty?  I thought a message board was where you voiced your opinion and showed evidence or reasons for why you felt that way.  I didn't realize it was wild speculation without a shred of evidence for why you said what you did.  Maybe that is why I struggle here sometimes with posters.  I actually expect you should have a reason to say what you did.  Silly me..........

Here's an idea to keep yourself from getting all worked up about posts you think are baseless. Put the posters on your ignore list.

Please include me on your lengthy list.

I don't have anyone on ignore.  Why do that unless you have so little restraint that just seeing a post  gets you upset.  Nothing is that important here to get upset or angry.  Don't project your feelings on me.

I think if we are really done, Rivera can pack his bags by midseason because I don't see us better than 6-10.

I called BS and it was.  No anger or upset on my end..  On yours though, apparently plenty or you would give it up.  If you don't it just proves my point.....

But I won't go on and on, really nothing you have said is that important really and it is time for a sumptuous lunch.  Later....

I think we are likely done.  I don't know if Rivera can unpack his bags because it will be tough to go 10-6 with the toughest schedule in football.

They mentioned on the panthers site that Wharton has practiced at both guard spots.

I'm re-watching the Ravens game right now and Gary Williams does not look that bad. He's staying on his blocks...Bell and Amini are having trouble.

I think the starting line right now can be respectable with Gross, Wharton, Kalil, Williams, and Bell.  Obviously Bell is going to be a liability, but he's not the worst person to ever play RT regardless of what some people think.

I personally think Garry Williams has outplayed Silatolu in preseason which is disappointing since I thought Silatolu looked good down the stretch last year and was hoping for a good year from him.

I still wonder if they would consider putting Wharton at tackle, but coming off his injury and with age, I don't know if he could do any better than Bell

The issue still remains that there is zero quality depth and there is no way the Panthers aren't going to try to add O-Lineman come cut time.

The Panthers starting Oline ever as is will not be the worst in the league.  I just wonder is Mike Shula will be inventive enough to scheme to hide some of the deficiencies.

Wanting to be a power running team sounds great, but I don't know if that is feasible with this line, or even what is the best usage of Cam's skill set.

I don't want Cam to get hit all the time, but I also don't a redux of Jeff Davidson either
