Its amazing that Nate Chandler who is pretty far removed from playing Oline could look that good...he is still a project but thats a great sign

Think they are counting all preseason snaps and I'd have to assume it was all against 2nd and 3rd stringers.

More importantly to me is who was he going against to earn that 100%? Like the Eagles 3rd string DL, 2nd string DL of da Bears, etc?

Glad to hear he's doing well though in at least one aspect of his game after the switch. Even better that he was willing to try, and the team was willing to experiment with him to keep him. Not a bad idea at all  :thumbsu:

Scrubs, that's who.

Some of our scrubs are kicking the asses of the guys across from them. They're not saying Nate looks like a world-beater at any stretch, but considering that he's doing well at the harder of the skills necessary to play the position only a few months after switching to an entirely new position, this is nothing but a positive no matter who he's playing against.

100% efficiency rate blocking scrubs still sounds pretty damn good in light of our situation. i really hope they run this guy extensively tomorrow against the steelers to see if he's a legit option

I'm just frustrated because this speaks to the screwed up state of this franchise. Instead of drafting a WR, we draft a QB and hope like hell he can make the switch. Instead of picking up an actual OT, we convert one of our DTs and hope like hell he can make the switch. Why not make it easier and get guys that play the positions you are looking to fill? It's like we are always trying to prove we can scout by finding diamonds in the rough instead of picking a proven player.

Dont mean to be all mushy, but reading that and seeing those 2 guys stick out above everybody else gives me a great feeling. Hydra and Minotaur for the win. Far as Chandler goes thats some crazy poo lol. If he keeps improving we should just stick him in at RT. Why the hell not?!

I understand the frustration, but it's not like Chandler is a draft pick who didn't pan out; he's a UDFA who's doing what the coaches ask of him and seems to be learning his part decently.

Good for Nate, seriously. I'm happy for the player. But the fact that an NFL franchise has to hope a guy can transition from DT to OT so they can have depth is sad.
