Both Godfrey and Mitchell's coverage abilities are still big concerns imo.

Unfortunately with the Panthers giving Mitchell the night off tonight I think that says they're content with the safeties we got.

I definitely wouldn't be opposed to signing mikell

Not anymore. I think we stick with Mitchell and all of the penalties that come with him.

I don't think he'll get an absurd amount.  Gotta remember in pre season the LAST thing the NFL wants is for star players getting hurt in a meaningless game, so they are significantly more "flag happy" with the personal fouls.  For instance in that ravens game, no way Luke would have gotten that BS flag on his pass breakup in a real game, he was making a legitimate play on the ball and neither his helmet or pads contacted the intended receiver's helmet.

He'll probably get a few more than we are used to, but I think it could be a good thing to have a risky player that makes the opposing team think twice about fighting for extra yardage.  Alot of great defenses have had guys that draw a good amount of flags but offenses fear those guys.

I just don't see him signing with us at this point, although I'd like him to. This is what he was waiting for... drive uo the demand, get more money, and skip training camp. Someone else will give him more money, and in his opinion, probably a better chance to win.
