If Ginn can give us 600 yards and 4-5tds this season, I call it a "WIN".

And 2-3 punt/kickoff returns for TD.

i'm very, very excited about this guy. he may well have been the most important offseason addition to this team and the very weapon that pop commentators complain that gettleman didn't provide for cam newton

Don't forget that with Ginn being the full time returner, he's going to give us great field position to start with. That's going to benefit us a whole lot more.

He's gonna be reason #628 why Cam is a million times better than Kaeperturd.

Kaepernick + best OL in NFL = mediocre Ginn

Cam + poor OL = 1,000yd 10td Pro Bowl Ginn

Lol thats a bold statement for some pre season heroics

How much time does Brady get/need?

Have you ever seen a patriots game?? The man can eat a sandwich if he needs to. You breathe on him and your getting flagged he's well protected.

honestly there is a part of me that is saying that 49ers and Dolphins fans have been saying this about Ginn. I'm not sure if he has ever performed this well in preseason before, but I'm still tentative before i can be confident in this guy. I obviously will hope for the best.

I know alot of Dolphins fans and most thought he'd be a good player if it weren't for his hands. I know I know as a receiver thats kind of the most important thing.  While he's here though he's not going to be put in as a "stud" receiver.  He isn't going to be asked to make the kind of catches smith, AJ green, larry fitz, etc make on a regular basis.

If he's able to catch the ball in stride when he's open, thats all we really need out of him.

Hopefully Ginn has learned a thing or two from Smitty since he's been here.

^this.

Gotta remember Bilicheck originally built that team around the most statuesque quarterback of all time, Drew Bledsoe.  He's a firm believer in the pocket passer and protecting the quarterback.  Notice how often he goes through skill position players, he constantly dumps receivers, runningbacks and tight ends but you hardly hear about good Patriots linemen hitting the open market.

He's been limited to a role player. His own fault and problem. I'll let him decide if he can finally be more than simply that. I like where this might be going. No promises or expectations. I thought he was just going to be a ST ace.

my only fear with ginn is when the hits start coming for real

You wanna hit him hard, you gotta catch him.

(that's why Devin Hester is still around despite weighing about 150 pounds)

If they send him across the middle.

You could also go the NE route. The Pats teach their guys to duck and cover if they see a guy within twenty feet of them. Purists hate it, but it works.

I don't know about preseason, but he did go for almost 200 yards in a game against the Bills while he was in Miami.

i'm sure they will sooner or later.  can't send him deep or every time he's in.

i don't think smitty would like that very much.  i can only imagine his reaction.
