Guy on reddit posts about his experience at game last night

Has anyone ever been tossed out of the stadium or know anyone who has?

One of my roommates probably will be eventually. He just gets so obnoxiously drunk and draws attention to himself. He doesn't really like sports, either.

Ok I'm going to admit something here:

Multiple times I've reported people to the usher that had the oppositions jersey on even if they were behaving. At the 49ers game 2 years ago I recall reporting a guy that probably didn't deserve it.

I have a personal goal of being reported to security in section 133 at least 4 out of 8 games.  Things are going to be different down in bowl this year.

Thinking about trying to sneak in a vuvuzela.

In my experience (all of which is it in the 500 section), it usually takes one or more of these for the ushers say something to you about behavior:

1. Being completely plastered

2. Cussing like a sailor

3. Hurling insults at other people

Numbers 2 & 3 are usually accompanied by number 1 too.

Yeah that sounds like attending a baseball game. Pathetic truly

Well damn that's not good

Yup. People in the south know how to tailgate especially for college FB. So she isn't knocking the south or anything, she just thinks its weird to go to a football game and see girls walking around in sun dresses that aren't even Panthers colors. Not to mention some if the hipster dudes you see walking around wearing skinny jeans at games.

Honestly, I think it's just this way in Charlotte. A lot of people who live here now aren't from here. So usually they have affiliations with other teams that reflect where they're from i.e. The browns, steelers, NY etc. It feels like Panthers games are an "event" not a football game.

One of my best buds in the world ( who is from Charlotte) moved to Baltimore area for work two years ago. He told me how Bmore lives and breathes the ravens. The place shuts down on game days and When they lose, the town feels it. It isn't like that in the 704.

Another example of the difference between tradition in different nfl cities and Charlotte is when I went Akron for Christmas two tears ago. Panthers/Bucs on Xmas eve. We went to the only bar in the area that had nfl ticket, and I sh1t you not it was like pulling damn teeth to get the bartender to change one if the 60 TVs on from the Browns game to the panthers game. You can go to bars in Charlotte and sometimes have to ask them to turn the panthers game on!!

i've seen women in tube dresses and guys with their jerseys tucked into their khaki shorts.  too many of them actually.

i'd definitely rather stay home, especially if its a 1pm game.   night games are another story altogether.

i've never had any of these issues with night games, especially if they were in november

I was at BOA way back in 2000. I think it was Ericsson stadium back then. I don't remember any incidents. I was at chargers-panthers in 2008 as well as last year. Charger fans are cool as fugg. When Rosario caught that TD, I was running around the hallway jumping being loud and obnoxious and no one said poo to me. In fact this charger fan came up to me and hugged me it was awesome. I almost went to the raider game the same year in 08, but I decided that I'd rather live instead...

You can't blame security for trying to keep it civil, but not everyone can hold their alcohol. I like the court prison system they have @ the eagles stadium. But if we ever host a divisional playoff or an NFCC game at BOA, I'mma be there, and judging by the stories on this thread, I'll get kicked out in the 2nd quarter

For the away games and home games I don't attend, I watch our panther games at my house. The bar next to my house in huntersville is an unofficial Jets bar. Lol. They had jets/giants pennants hanging up and didn't put a panthers one up until I went and bought them one. I don't need a bunch of drunk, loud, know it all Yankees in my face insulting the panthers and lecturing me on how much better it is up north.

I used to have to watch panther games up there when one of my roommates moved out because my other roommate doesn't like sports and its not fun sitting there by yourself drinking. Thank god my other roommate who moved in is a sports fan.

Winning changes everything.  Give us 3 winning seasons in a row and see how this drastically changes.  God-forbid we make it 4 in a row and win a SB along the way.  Charlotte is more "hungray" than we give them credit for.  I saw what the 1991 Braves team did for that area of the country.

Just fuging win.

And as an auto-correct check...The Golden Calf of Bristol and poo.

I've taken it one step further. I couldn't make the Cowboys game last year because I was out of town for work so I gave my tickets to my neighbor. I sent him a text to see how things were going and he said fine but there were two Cowboy fans sitting next to him. I know those two seats next to mine are owned by a broker. So I sent security a text from Vegas saying there were two asshole Cowboy fans next to me. My neighbor called me and said somebody had called security on the Cowboy fans. Apparently they came up and gave the guys a hard time. I had a nice laugh.

Totally a dick move but I'm tired of these fugers coming into our house.

Never had an issue. Ushers have only bothered opposing fans really. If somebody is using profanity around kids this one lady stares them down before the ushers would even have a chance.
