Goodbye David Gettis

Didn't get as much of a chance as he should have gotten. I look forward to watching him catch on somewhere and be a productive 3rd WR. With what Ginn has shown and Hixon having NFL production history, the writing was on the wall. Armanti is a feel good story, but Gettis is a better player by leaps and bounds. Armanti can do more on special teams though. Versatility wins roster battles.

Steve Reed @SteveReedAP 1m

Campbell, Clausen, Gettis and Anderson Russell among those waived/injured and will resort back to the team's IR if not claimed.

Clausen coming back! Yes!

I hate this so much for him and us. I thought he was going to do big things, just couldn't stay on the field. Really sucks.

Clausen was waived/injured? Interesting.

Gettis not knowing offense after two years did him in.

Well, to be fair, you have to be able to play to get a chance.

If not for this injury, he would've been #4. Maybe he catches on somewhere else when he heals.

Gettis ran track in college correct? Maybe his legs are just physically done
