And all anyone will ever talk about on this board is the Arizona game.

because that was our last moment of relevance and it went down in horrible fashion. it's essentially the last taste in our mouths and it still lingers.

until we have at least a winning season to hang our hats on or another playoff win, that will be the watershed moment for the panthers. that will be the game that defined us until we redefine ourselves. so far, we're still a losing team and theres only one way to change that.

man i have so many good memories of the 2008 season. we were actually good so i was able to get a contingent of panthers fans together weekly to watch games... after that attrition during our years of mediocrity has bled the group down to where halfway through the season i'm the only one in front of the tv.

it'll feel good to be spending sundays with a crowd in december again.

Stop dwelling on the past.  It's like the Kasey kickoff in the Superbowl.  Get over it people.

that's always been my favorite part of that video. LOL

Why would you even post a video like that online?

It's kind of embarrassing.

I will say this, Jake loved the game and played with intensity. They stayed with him much to long and we know the result of that, but when he could play he was a trooper. Haven't been many of those moments since.

Looking at it like a gardener. Seeds were planted by Hurney. Gettleman's now watering, weeding, and pruning as the tree grows. Even if the tree doesn't yield much fruit this year, it's roots are strong and will keep growing.

What kind of hippie garbage is this??

Guys we have a Seahawks fan infiltrating the board!!

He set the stage in his first game when he replaced Rodney Peete. I think it was a Jacksonville game and we were down like 17-0. We were in the company box where my wife worked and of course we were the guys sitting down front with the windows open actually watching the game. Jake comes in to a standing ovation. I think that was part of setting the stage because he went off and we of course won.

And yeah there were a few more games where if we were down and Jake had the ball there was no nervousness.

I hope cam recreates that
