I kind of agree with the Mitchell over Mikell thing. I do think that Travelle should be on the line instead of Garry Willaims. But if you are choosing between Thomas and Norman it has to be Thomas. Thomas is the best corner on our team, but you rarely see him during the game because he does not get thrown on as much as Norman/Cap because he mugs the WR at the line and fugs up the timing

It's not about who steps on the field first, it's snap count and who is on the field in the critical situations.

The only thing that is 100% certain on Sunday is that I will be cracking a beer at 8am in a gravel parking lot whilst firing up the grill and blasting Hall & Oates greatest hits.

Extra pie if that vintage Hall and Oates is a cassette.

My phone is being stupid and wont let me past but this is per ESPN, those our are starters for this Sunday. So we sign a pro bowler SS just to be a back up. Genius! We have a CB that led the pre season in picks and we bench him. GENIUS!

When we are in Nickel Norman will be on the outside and Captian will be the nickelback and we will probably play alot of nickel packages.

Don't understand putting Norman on the bench unless they think he is just too much of a gambler on a play to play basis. Seattle is a big play/play action team. If Norman tries to jump a few play action routes and they lead to TDs then it puts our offense in a bad situation against a front 7 that LOVES to play downhill. Wilson isnt going to throw picks...he just doesn't do it. Never did it in college, didn't do it last year as a rookie. The best way to limit Seattle is to be solid tacklers and to force them to go 3 and out.

If we were playing the Cowboys and you could count on a few errant throws from Romo then I'd say start Norman...but Wilson is too disciplined. Start whoever is most fundamentally sound.

Luke and Captain say what up.............

Munnerlyn will be picked on the entire game just like he was in preseason. Cam will continue running for his life.

amazing no one picked him up before now, huh?

It's not shocking or amazing and it certainly shouldn't besmirch his playing ability in the eyes of anyone, unless they are just purposely trying to be ignorant to the facts.

Vets hold out until the last second all the time. There's many reasons for this and in his particular case it was because he wanted a multi-year deal and likely wanted to avoid as much, if not all, of training camp and preseason as possible. We had contacted him way back in June about signing and likely have had a deal in place since then. Don't listen to the coach speak about "well we did this because Nakamura got injured", because that's a hill of beans.
