Spoke to him yesterday, he was confident he would play. May just be a precaution.

Spoke to him yesterday, he was confident he would play. May just be a precaution.

 

Must be bring him along slowly. I do not have high expectations from him in our season opener. Micro fracture  surgery is not easy to overcome

After rushing him back the last two seasons they probably finally figured out that isn't a good idea. Bringing him along slowly the first month or so and having him dull strength down the stretch is better than throwing him out there full go week 1 then seeing him in sweat pants come November.

I have been warning people to temper their expectations of Jon.

Ron may make him the token starter, but I doubt he plays many snaps. We have good depth. Bring him along slowly.
