It's a very good game. Just curious, does anyone know why Steve Spurrier is known as the "ole ball coach"? He's been called that for as long as I can remember (which goes back 25+ years).

I believe he said something to that about himself when answering a question once upon a time....some thing like "I'm just an ole ball coach".....I think

Oh, so he basically gave himself that nickname? Didn't know that. How lame.

No, he just said it once in passing and the media keeps repeating it.

Oh, so ESPN again. Should have figured.

P.S. Why the hell do you line up in shotgun on 4th and goal from the 2 inch line? Stupid, ole'  ball coach.

That's one of the limitations of running a shotgun only spread offense. Helps between the 20's, but hurts the team inside the 20's.

UGA was flat out hungrier than Carolina. Not to mention desperate.

Clowney seemed to spend more snaps from on the bench than in the game. Is this a MVP. I doubt it. Let Bruce Campbell run him a few laps, Clowney = bust

Well, that's it.  I refuse to look at another SC game until they start Dylan Thompson.  Spurrier made a dumb play call at the goaline, and Clowney seems to be our only defensive player out there, but it was Connor Shaw that cost us this game with that turnover.  Plus, he just doesn't have the will to win big games.  Thompson has the potential to take this team all the way, and once again Spurrier fails to just make him the starter.  I'm tired of this foolishness.  Until Thompson starts, I won't watch another SC game.
