lol and who is responsible for making sure we have players who consistently execute?

If that's your theory, then every single loss ever is the fault of the coaches.

Lol how was any of those you listed rons fault

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using CarolinaHuddle mobile app

They're all Ron's fault. This team is consistently getting dumb penalties and showing they're unfocused. If its just one guy its the players fault. If its the team as a whole that falls on the coach. I just don't think he has good control over this team. The players like him but that doesn't mean poo if its not equated into wins.

I do blame Ron for this loss. Players played their hearts out. Ron coached over conservative and tried to sit on 1 touchdown. you cant win doing that.

the offense is putrid. it's hard to be aggressive when you can't move the ball.

This lose stings. Hopefully we come back week 2, exercise some resilience and bring home a win.

If Williams doesn't fumble, the attitude here would be so different. I'm incredibly disappointed because it's the same old thing; close games decided by 1 bad play. But to blame a Deangelo Williams fumble on coaching is stupid.

Armond Smith literally didn't know the rules of playing gunner.

Not sure how any can blame Rivera....

Josh Thomas burnt twice on same play and punt turnover, DeAngelo fumbling again, Olsen dropping huge balls early, etc are to blame.

And DeAngelo had the biggest blunder last year as well.

Sure Dwill fumble basically lost the game.. however rons decision not to go for the 4th and inches is what makes me want his ass gone..

As much as I want Rivera fired (I'm the one who started the petition last year to get him fired that got 5k sigs) punting it on 4th and inches was the right call.

Wouldn't have been that close if Rivera and Shula hadn't Delhommeifyed Cam.

How many 4th quarter leads has Riveras teams blown. Dwill was the symptom today but Rivera is the disease. Hiring Shula as the OC was lol stupid. Just ask Keyshawn Johnson.

JR needs to sell this team to someone who cares about winning. This is crazy.

/ end rant.

We lost a close game to a team many have going to the Super Bowl. It was five points. Give the Seahawks their due. The fumble was the worst thing that could happen, but it was just one play. They had 300 yards passing and only 7 points to show for it. I guarantee you they're not calling for Carroll's firing right now. I saw a lot to be encouraged about in this game. Our defense was beastly for three quarters until they got exhausted. We were also missing one of our stud rotation guys over a stupid ejection. I still don't see how they eject Alexander and don't eject Bennett for trying to take Cam's head off.
