I'm sure JR is gonna miss the money that you've never spent.

No doubt. The dude makes a killing off the sheep around here and doesn't even have to spend money to renovate.

Never argued against that.

so, you're now a fan of another team that will never see a dime from you?

I've heard Paul Allen runs the Seachickens like a charity. Yup he's so much better.

I see an unhealthy trend around these parts that's worrisome to me

If losing another game gets rid of some of these "fans", I honestly don't see that as a problem. That's the only benefit I can see to losing. Drop some unneeded and dead weight from the fanbase.

I think many people actually think this way around here. People would rather lose than to have "bandwagoners" around. Sad.

Who remembers Boner Champ (wasn't his name before, he changed it) becoming a Falcons fan?

No matter how you try to spin this, it is still severely weak.

Their jerseys are all made from the same cloth in a sweatshop somewhere. Not that big a deal.

I go to all the games.  i spend money on taigating, merchandise, food, tickets, parking, beer, mostly beer, liquor, you name it and im paying for it.  Just to go see a team of millionaires owned by a billionaire play a game.  And I wouldnt change a damn thing!  i am a football fan!  I am a Carolina Panthers football fan!  I will be through thick and thin regardless!  Because its more than money its my relief.  My fun,  My escape from the crap i deal with in reality everyday!  It can be frustrating at times.  But it has also been some of the greatest times!!  I accept both.  I am no sheep,  no bandwagon, no fairweather, no homer. I am a real fan,  Some people need to try it.

obviously some clowns are more fans of players, especially if they attended their favorite college for 3 out of their 4 years.

you'd think we'd be used that around here, with all of the Camolina fans we saw after he was drafted.  Haven't seen quite so many of them around lately.  They must all be Wilson and Kaep fans now...like our illustrious OP.

You will understand one day when you attend a 4 yr uni.

...No? I'm currently at UNC and I actually know some of the players (both football and basketball) on a personal level, but you don't see me becoming a Cards fan because of Jonathan Cooper or a Bengals fan because of Gio. Or even a Blazers or Clippers fan because of Dex or Reggie, respectively.

That's not how it should work. Most players who attend these schools don't even abandon their original team that they've always been a fan of. It's just stupid and doesn't make sense.

Ohhhh, a hipster Seahawk wearing a hoodie. How edgy.

It would be perfect if he had some sandals and a goatee.
