Cam Newton posts a better QBR than Russell Wilson

24 posts in this topic

I posted this in the other thread about Wilson, but after the Seahawks first two drives where Wilson was 1-5 for 1 yard he went 24-28 for 319 yards and a touchdown the rest of the game.

That stat tells you one thing, the defense played the pass horribly even with the really good pressure by the front 7,

I thought they both played well

QBR is poo. Both Cam and Wilson played very well today.

The difference between them was the drive killing drops. Seattle's receivers helped Wilson tremendously.

Never said I liked the stat just pointing out how Espn likes to use it when praising one qb and criticizing another. By "their" own statistical system Cam played the better game. Not saying I agree with it but just something to remember when we have to hear tomorrow why Cam isn't as good as Wilson.

God just watching Kaepernick against the packers makes me think of everything Cam could be if his coaching staff weren't a bunch of fuging retards

IMO, this team needs to get out there and just play the damn game. I'm beginning to think the problem with this team is more psychological. Every team has weaknesses. This team just seems afraid to win.

The Panthers need to go play football and they need to let their QB do what he does best. 150 yds....Really?! And why am I not surprised at how quick some of you are at praising Russel despite his mistakes. Yet, u will sit there and carry on endlessly over Cam over throwing a damn ball. SMDH

Russell surely did throw up some prayers that were answered. It looks like a team that does the little things to win.  Special teams and turnovers made the difference.  The offenses and defenses were evenly matched.  We have to learn how to play our best at critical times like they did.  Cam did a good job and Shula had the running game cooking.  This is the kind of balanced offense everyone talks about wanting to have.  We made drive killing mistakes at critical times and shot ourselves in the foot. Shula and Rivera can't make the players execute properly, only the players can.  I want to see how we play against Buffalo before I decide whether to panic.  Can't say I am not disappointed though.  Hoarse too. Our fans were up on third down yelling and cheering.  It  has been a few years since I was as excited about this defense as this year.  I hope they live up to my expectations.

And had an offensive line that gave him decades to throw. Greg Roman just called an exquisite 3rd down play, though.

    • It is the off-season and winning online competitions is kinda our thing.   Let's see if we can't swing this thing.  The Pats need to go home.  We must fight the Evil League of Evil coalition.
    •   So are you upset that Hillary lost and we stopped investigating her?  Or that in an alternate reality, Hillary won and no one is talking about Russia?  I'm trying to see your point, but alas, you might be too clever for me. Or are we back to it's not fair to expect Trump NOT to have Russian ties because of business interests?  Again, all Trump had to do was completely break from his companies, and he did not.  And we're seeing some serious Russian interests in Trump winning, and a lot of contact between Trump's campaign officials and advisers, which is good or bad? I'm not sure the point you're trying to make.  Is it "yay, Trump won so we can investigate Russian interference with the election and administration!"  Or is it "Boo, if Hillary won she wouldn't be investigated!" Hillary lost.  People came out for Trump in the rust belt. Now that people are looking at Trump, what he's said, what laws he's trying to pass, etc; a lot of information is coming out.  Is that bad?  Or is it just that the media is being unfair to Trump? Maybe I'm just not smart enough to get it.
    • I highly doubt this will upset anyone, unless they are trolling that is.
