The defense allowed 370 yards of offense, that will get you ranked about 21st.

Slow :goodjob: Exactly!

Haven't we been saying that at some point the ball will bounce our way for a few years now?  It gets old...

Cynic.

Cynic.

Not really.

A cynic is someone who despite looking at history to the contrary decides on a pessimistic stance.

The fact is the Panthers have had little luck over the past two season. Pointing that fact out doesn't make one a cynic.

Calling an apple an apple is not cynicism.

the defensive rating is right.. but when you look at the "game aspects".. the team we were playing, the score.. etc... you can see it was one of the best Defensive showings in the NFL.

I'll take a low ranked defense that allows few points over a highly ranked one that allows many points any day of the week.

Doesn't mean the gameplan sucked... means the execution sucked.

The fact that we still managed to rank 9th even with all dropped passes, fumbles and missed blocks suggests the gameplan was actually pretty good.

...along with Olsen forgetting how to catch the ball, and Bell playing like he was wearing roller skates.

Every offense every week can point out a handful of negatives, no matter the performance.

Good QB rating. Good YPC.

Would u put money on it this weekend for any NFL game? 7 points will win?

I might. The Jags got the ball past their own 35 I believe only a handful of times last week. If the Raiders score 7, they may win.

On the flip side, I don't know a lot of people that would put money on 12 points winning a game, but it did.

I do find it interesting though that most people here think our defense kicked ass in spite of allowing Russell Wilson his first 300 yard game, but most also agree that our offense was complete poo.
