Once again, Ron's pet strikes again. Damn, what did this guy do?

I just don't understand the move in iteelf, but to further piss me off, why do you fill the spot held by your starting RG with a DT? Just stupid.

Again. People talk about Ron, but Gettleman is the GM.

I am 100% sure Gettleman did not make this decision unilaterally.

Ultimately it's his decision, he doesn't have to take orders from Rivera.

He could have opted to sign literally anyone else, a guy off the street could perform better.

I am not sure why everyone is so surprised with this move.

We are down to 3 DT's for Sunday.  Fua is a guy who knows the system and the calls.

Now....if he stays on the team when Dwan returns, then I will be very confused.

I fully expect him to be released again as soon as Dwan is ready to go.

Why does it matter that he knows the system when he can't do sh**?

My hope would be that if he finds playing time we are ahead by a nice margin and his play would not effect the outcome all that much (also known as mop up time). If it's a close game and we need to collapse the pocket or stuff the run to get off the field, then that's not a winning situation. I did read that Dwan is nursing an injury and they need a body until he recovers, but a live body would have been nice.

Sorry, guys.  The moment I saw the news, I knew this place would explode. I've been chuckling since.

Agree with Jawny, why not re-sign Kearse? At least he plays like a man occasionally.

Just to drive home how bad Fua is, not once in 3 years of games, both regular season and preseason, did I ever watch him make a single play that made me think "nice play Fua". Not once. How is that even possible?

There has to be at least 5-10 DT's sitting at home that are better than Fua. He has no business in the NFL.
