Usually I would say this is a sure win, but then I remember we have RR and his million tricks of giving away sure wins.

Thank you for these threads each week Zod. It's always so interesting to me to get into the minds of the opposing fanbase. A lot of those guys seem pretty damn confident that they will "circle the wagons" and get a victory, but I can't really see any scenario where Carolina loses this game.

we've turned losing into an art form. same with rationalizing each loss.

it's what we've become good at.

looking at the bills now is like looking at us in the future, minus the multiple superbowl losses. until we actually start winning games and finishing them, we have very little reason for confidence. we'll always look good and some in here will contend that we looked like the better team, but until we actually start finishing games...this is our destiny. always that team that is just on the brink of being good with a long history of futility and excuses.

we absolutely can lose this game.

It's the Debbie Downer Bowl. The game should be cancelled and each team awarded a loss to keep their fan bases "happy".

yeah, it''s a shame that so many fans can't be giddy about their teams inability to win games.

Yea I know it's crazy it's like if your team has been missing the playoffs for many consecutive years, fans aren't going to be very enthusiastic I mean what the fug is the deal with that

If you aren't enthusiastic about it why waste any time with it. It's sole purpose is entertainment right? If it's not entertaining than one would be stupid to waste time and money on it and let it turn you into a whimpering emo.

I think a lot of us are looking at this game through homer glasses and think we can't lost this game. Although i see it as highly unlikely, the bills are a legit threat to us and being at home helps even more.

With the way this team chokes every single 4th quarter we could lose every game this season

Sometimes you can find entertainment in ineptitude, if nothing else

It's mostly the only reason people take the time to quote you after all

"Charlotte is a great city. But the Panthers fans blow."

Quoted from their thread.
This is what fair-weather fans get us.

Anyone who thinks we can't lose this game....doesn't watch Carolina

Exactly.  A smart Panther fan changes the channel at the end of the 3rd quarter.

i got that knot in my stomach when i saw us sit on the ball to end the half

i knew our fate was sealed when the hawks went up 5.  naturally we had to have that late drive to make me think it would be different this time.  it wasn't, of course.

Our lead going into the half was massive.   It was understandable that we wouldn't muddy ourselves by actually trying to score more points with 30 seconds and all three time outs remaining.

Im sorry but I dont buy the whole "But Bills played Patriots tough so they are better than expected." So explain this logic to me seeing as how the Bills actually DID upset NE last year and won by a FG, people seem to forget that. How did that work out for them? All that tells me is they are actually worse this year because unlike last year, they lost to the Pats.

While I believe we SHOULD win, I've been systematically trained since the end of 2008 to never have confidence in the team I love...  I simply cannot EXPECT a win...

EXPECTING good things from this franchise, leads to letdown...  Actually PREDICTING victories leads to ridicule and embarassment...

I will neither expect, nor predict anything good from this team again until I have been shown they can consistenly perform at an acceptable level...

My faith and support was given blindly...  Well, my support remains...  My faith is gone...  With this team I now only believe what I see...  And in that, I'm encouraged in what I see, but I have little faith left to invest...
