32nd in total plays also lets you know whey the D ran out of gas at the end.

It is not excuses it is simple objective analysis.

Here is the problem with your thinking, and it is a flaw that completely negates your reasoning.

You are taking all of that analysis of one team and applying it to them only, ignoring the rest of the league.

Every team can rewatch and find a few plays that would have changed the game every week.

If you do that for the Panthers, then you need to do that for 31 other teams as well if you are looking for objectivity.

??? What was subjective about it?

Just because Zod doesn't like actual study and statistical analysis because it undermines his desire to prove that he was right about Shula.

And just because he rejects the contextualizing of a game through statistical analysis.

Doesn't mean it is subjective.

Stats are not for losers. Clump stats like total yardage and total points for offenses or defenses are for the misinformed though.

And I have never said whether I felt Zod was right or wrong about Shula. All I said is that after going back and analyzing the game on tape and through statistical analysis I was more encouraged about our offense than I was immediately after the game.

For some reason that has brought derision down upon me from our fearless leader.

I will keep breaking the team down on a weekly basis and sharing my observations through that analysis. If people are interested in that then great and if not they can move on to another thread.

I do. And base my betting off of that analysis. Basing it as comparable to the rest of the league is what my analysis was all about

Although this week it may be a little later because my computer crashed and am having to use my phone for everything.

Oh I see, you watched every game and was as forgiving with 31 other teams. My bad. Carry on.

Well I tried but my computer crashed so I wasn't able to watch every game only what was on national TV and two others before it happened.

Again it isn't about being forgiving or not, it is about objectively looking at a game and dissecting each game based on statistics. Then watching the game in order to contextualize those statistics.

I try to do it for every team.

And maybe I am a homer but I was very, very critical of our defense two years ago based on the same stuff.

And was even critical of our defense last season when everyone was like "but we have a top 10 defense!!!""

If the Panthers cannot win this Sunday, it looks like another, "win a few in the second half when it doesn't count" kinda season.  i will be ready to blow up the whole offense and start over.

No sacred cows from the HC, OC, to expensive RB's, underperforming OLine, QB, and WR corps.  Tired of the excuses
