Got myself a new sig.  Going by that graph it looks like we had a fuging 100% probability of a win at one point... yet we still somehow managed to fug it up.

"You say we only need one more yard to seal the victory? No, we better not chance it. Bring out Gano!"

A mere few minutes later...

"Well, who could have seen that coming. Am I right?!"

You kick the FG and a Touchdown still beats you. You go for it, and don't get it a Touchdown beats you.

Technically a 99 percent chance to win but the point still stands...

How did they calculate the probability ? Anyhow, this graph is identical to my "we got this" feeling during the game.

Based on a logit regression of every game played for the past 5 seasons, a mathematical model was established to determine the probability each opponent would win a game. The model is based on team efficiency stats which include:

Offensive pass efficiency, including sack yardage
Defensive pass efficency, including sack yardage
Offensive run efficiency
Defensive run efficiency
Offensive interception rate
Defensive interception rate
Offensive fumble rate
Penalty rate (penalty yards per play)

Etc. etc. etc.

Did anyone notice that Rivera's voice was about 3 octaves higher than usual in his interview? I think that kick in the ass missed and hit his nuts.

    • According to the article cms had plans to use he book in all first grade classes so yeah I think it was going to be required reading. Or at least it sounds like there were lesson plans being developed to actively incorporate it. i have no problem with students having free access to books covering a wide range of subjects including LGBT issues. I have a problem with it being thrust upon them that young. To me high school would be a more appropriate age. There the students are more able to understand the issue and form their own opinions.
    • I really hope this and Wonder Woman turn out to be good. DC needs a solid move.
    • I can always tell when the lefties are losing an argument because the of the pure venom they resort to posting in an attempt to shame/bully the other side into silence. enjoy your weekend CWG, have a beer and relax. I heard it's supposed to be nice weather.
