Lol...

"Well one good thing is we played the NFC favorites hard and nearly won."

Like wtf, are we not an NFL team just like them?  I nearly lost it when I heard him say that... just publicly admitting mediocrity is fine especially when he knows his job, and many other jobs, are on the line.

Get rid of this fuger, he doesn't have a fuging clue.

One reporter asked if he took into account the state of his secondary when deciding to go for it on 4th down/kick fg

His response: "well, no"

The Charlotte media need to be held accountable for not calling out this organization and holding them accountable..Richardson in particular...We accept mediocrity. Richardson knows that...why change it?

Breaks my heart.

That man is completely void of accountability and a sense of urgency.

I was a supporter of his, no more.

What emotionless warm body to we get next?

Only Marty Hurney would see something in Ron Rivera that the ten other teams that interviewed him didn't.

A good reporter?  Lol, a normal fuging person would've followed up with that question.

Exactly.

His explanation was that if we had gained yards on 2nd down then d-wills run of 4 yds on 3-5 would've been a first down instead of 4th and 1.  Basically that if the players had done their job he wouldn't have to make these TOUGH decisions.  Fuggin players actually having to play against another NFL team and not 7-on-7 drills in TC.

TimTom provided only a partial quote. Ron went onto say that the backups make plays every day in practice and that he has to be able to trust them in a game situation. Very different than just "well, no."

Hurney saw a dumbass who he would be able to manipulate into coaching the team how Marty wanted, playing how Marty wanted, using Martys players, etc..  Then if it didn't work out he could fire the coach and start over with the next one but if it DID work out he could jump in and take all of the credit.  Too bad JR didn't realize what a lying worthless snake Marty was until it was too late and we wasted 3 years on nothing but misey.

Before you bring it up, I have been here since the Clemson days so I know all about all of the other low points but for me, this is a new low.

And I am not sure if we are done descending.

I am not forsaking this franchise but damn, how much worse can this get?
