You wanna know why we won't sign Kerry Rhodes? :/

Best Answer Nicks To The Colts, 16 September 2013 - 06:42 PM

Please do not bring religion and Christianity into this. Especially when you know nothing of it. Don't even respond to me.

But to Rhodes. The fact that he's gay is his choice. Theres nothing wrong With our nfl players if they aren't comfortable with that. Media makes out people like me to be a bad person just bc I don't believe in it and they do.
Do I go throwing rocks and taking pitchforks to gay people? No of course not. But do I want to be associated ad have my family kids brothers little children around that lifestyle? No sir I do not. Just the same way that i don't want my family around a bunch of drunks or druggies. I don't think I'm any better than these people. Just how I feel. And sounds like most of the Nfl dosent wanna be associated with him. Which is not their problem or fault.

"Hate the sin, love the sinner."

Sounds to me like Smitty is leaving out the second part because it makes him uncomfortable.  His Lord and Savior didn't think he was too good to associate with prostitutes, tax collectors, thieves, lepers, etc.  Lots of Christians choose to intentionally overlook that point.

Take a guess

Ok I will

Someone ask Steve Smith if Kerry was gay, and he said, "I don't know, we don't run in the same circles".

You posted a comment that someone else said they heard or read Smith say.  We are getting the comment third hand (and thats being generous), so until we can see what was actually said, we can all make up our guesses as to what that meant, if it was actually said in the first place.

Smith & Cam aren't exactly BFFs.

how many 35 year olds did you hang out with when you were 24?

Well... Do you think he was lying? He said he heard it on the radio.. Not like he pulled it out of his ass

Well he claims Smitty said it on the radio....so it should be easy to verify. Probably makes it true as well

I'll hear it for myself then before I jump to conclusions on something likely out of context.

People give Joe Person poo, but Dator is a whole different level.

not sure why smith's view, if it is true, is disappointing.

until teams/nfl makes accomodations for both sides for locker room etiquette, it would be very uncomfortable for someone who isn't gay to undress in front of someone who is.

This has nothing to do with winning or losing.

When will people learn to comprehend? Jesus lol

along those lines, I've stated before that I have found it better on the huddle to assume that everyone is a complete idiot till proven otherwise.  Unfortunate that this is needed but true.

You tend to look at the good post and go "oh thats a good point" or "I see the other side to this argument" and with the average posts on here just scroll over them and go yeah.... nothing to see here same old same old.... seems like the stupid just bothers you less when you do that.

only time I ever respond is when someone actually makes a good point, or if they say something so mind boggling stupid that it's worth a flaming or two just to make everything right in the world again case in point: last week when I flamed the guy that made a thread about us not going for it on 4th and inches when we were on our own 34 with the lead and the game not on the line. it's just a different level of stupid that goes around here from time to time.

i've had gay teammates. its not a big deal unless you make it one. and those that do usually have insecurities. thats on them, not the gay dude who is just trying to get home to his friends and family.

One can only hope the National media doesn't make this a big story.

Steve Smith hasn't done it lately that I can remember, but he would use to yell F A G G O T at opposing corners all the time when he was younger.

The media doesn't make you out to be a bad person, you do.
