You wanna know why we won't sign Kerry Rhodes? :/

Best Answer Nicks To The Colts, 16 September 2013 - 06:42 PM

Please do not bring religion and Christianity into this. Especially when you know nothing of it. Don't even respond to me.

But to Rhodes. The fact that he's gay is his choice. Theres nothing wrong With our nfl players if they aren't comfortable with that. Media makes out people like me to be a bad person just bc I don't believe in it and they do.
Do I go throwing rocks and taking pitchforks to gay people? No of course not. But do I want to be associated ad have my family kids brothers little children around that lifestyle? No sir I do not. Just the same way that i don't want my family around a bunch of drunks or druggies. I don't think I'm any better than these people. Just how I feel. And sounds like most of the Nfl dosent wanna be associated with him. Which is not their problem or fault.

People really take things way too serious; what context did he say this if he said it at all. This sound like James Dator trying to make  an issue out it all because his response wasn't sure we need help with the secondary due to injuries.

do you believe these disgusting things because of religion and christianity? if so then your first statement is nothing more than a cowardly attempt to keep your primary cause from looking as bad as you do right now. if not, then you have even less of an excuse for having such disgusting opinions because at least religious people are usually born into power structures that deterministically shape their paradigms.

either way... gross.

not sure why smith's view, if it is true, is disappointing.

until teams/nfl makes accomodations for both sides for locker room etiquette, it would be very uncomfortable for someone who isn't gay to undress in front of someone who is.

Maybe Smith and other players should quit being homophobic and get over it.

So he's gay, big deal. It's not gonna rub off on you.

The media doesn't make you out to be a bad person, you do.

No I don't. I don't think I'm perfect and I'm not the best person ever. But I am a good hearted nice person who generally cares for people. To say I'm a homophobe or close minded bc I don't believe in it is not right. It's like me trying to push religion or same sex marriage down their throats.

You're the opposite of a good hearted person. You're a terrible human being.

once you realize that it's not a choice. that they are born that way, just like how we are born straight. you will begin to realize that the rest of what you just said is very, very dumb.

Steve Smith hasn't done it lately that I can remember, but he would use to yell F A G G O T at opposing corners all the time when he was younger.

Yes, you've said this two times already. A lot of people use that word in vain, including Kobe Bryant.

If they had problems with gay guys looking at them, they should also have problems with straight guys looking at them.

Ok guy. Really don't care what you think. If I'm gross bc I don't believe in it then fine so be it. It's not like I'm a hateful person to gay people. I'm friendly and nice. But I don't accept that lifestyle. Sorry. This is exactly what I mean when proper act like I'm the bad guy bc I don't accept your forced thought on how u think it should be.

i've had gay teammates. its not a big deal unless you make it one. and those that do usually have insecurities. thats on them, not the gay dude who is just trying to get home to his friends and family.

you're right. it's no different from a woman who is comfortable getting undressed in front of a man...yet there are accomodations set in place because there are women who are.

You use that word constantly and then make remarks like he apparently did (by the way, I still haven't heard anyone else confirm what Dator said) and I'm going to go out on a limb and say you're a homophobe.

I get the feeling some hetero guys don't want gay guys to be around them because they're afraid they might get a boner.
