Keep in mind 4-4 is 4-2 from here to there. That would be a nice run and hopefully mean some momentum going into our two hardest games of the year

I'm not sure I can be convinced.

It'd have to be more than just the record.  I'd need to see near miraculous change in the team.

On this bandwagon.

Massive change in the way the team plays and the coaches approach game and personnel management and I could even give him more rope with a 4-4 record.

I just don't think I can forgive him at all at this point. He has not shown a propensity to learn from his mistakes or even acknowledge them.

I'm afraid if we miraculosuly pull out a W this week it's only a matter of time before his in game decisions will cost us wins down the road.

Thanks to Zod's inspiration from the other thread: I say at least ONE WIN WHEN IT MATTERS!

and i'm okay with going 4-2 the next six games.  everybody saying anything better ultimately wants him to be gone by then because there is no way we win the next 6.

definitely 6-2, and even then i'd just assume it's because he's got a hot poker up his butt, so i'd fire him anyway

It would take a tremendous turnaround for me to want him to stay.  I'm talking 5-3 or 6-2 with a complete change in the mentality of this team.  Not going to happen though.   Poor coaching has wasted 2 years going on 3 years and I'm just sick of it, it's hard to forget.

For me it's not about wins and losses per se.  If we play like we've been playing and "luck" into a lot of wins that won't get it.  But if we play aggressive and look like the team we all thought we'd be this year and lose some games I'm OK with that.

I don't mind being beaten by a team that played better that day but this circus we've got going on here has to stop.  I just want us to look like we know what we're doing and stop turning those fluke plays that beat some teams into an everyday thing for the Panthers.

Basically the only thing that would save Rivera in my eyes is he suddenly become an aggressive coach.  That last press conference he did saying he didn't want to seem desparate this early in the season was the last straw for me.  And I'm one of the most loyal, positive, glass half full kind of fan you'll ever meet.  If the team is starting to lose me they're in real trouble with your average fan.

I don't care if we win out, he still needs to go.

Though losing out is a hell of a lot more likely.

there has to be vast improvement on in game management. And i still would be hesitant to not fire him.

he is a terrible, terrible head coach.

We have a chance to be 5-2 or 4-3 after October.

But that Buffalo game hurt
