It doesn't seem like there have been 13 wins   :(

How many wins have there been when it mattered?

Wait wait wait...  I thought that Rivera had learned from his losses last season, and had grown as a coach!  More than one Huddle regular was assuring us of that all summer.

Do your stats take that into account?  I didn't think so... :P

I was one of those that believed in Rivera and thought last year he'd turned the corner but I was wrong.

Wrong.  Wrong.  Wrong.  Wrong.  Wrong.

While I agree Rivera deserves most of the blame, you can substitute his name on these stats with "Cam Newton". This doesn't exactly make me feel great about either right now.

Or Steve Smith, or Greg Olsen, or Jordan Gross, or DWill, or CJ, or Godfrey, or Hardy etc.

The QB is the most important position on the field but it's still a team game.

4 came before we were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

To take a step further we have never won more than 2 games  in the first 11 weeks of the NFL Season under Rivera

there are some games you can put on cam. but cam doesn't call a soft zone coverage on the goal line. cam doesn't call consecutive running plays with an ineffective offensive line, then punt/kick on 4th and inches with a one score lead.

Please, ESPN lowers football IQ.

I understand that, I just don't like the crucifixion of Rivera without spreading at least some blame on the players themselves. I do want to see Rivera gone though, so we can all get a glimpse as to who the real Cam might be, because as long as Rivera is at the helm there will always be a built in excuse for this team. Just win, baby.

Oh, and I actually don't have cable anymore, just expressing my own opinion my friend.

There's only one individual you can put responsibility for wins and losses on. The HC. QBs and all other players are part of a unit. The QB doesn't have control over the offense, defense and ST like the HC has control over his coaching staff.
