ABSOLUTELY no shred of doubt in my mind that hes gone if we lose to the Giants.

Quote

Ron Rivera was asked about his job status and the upcoming bye week and cut off the question saying "I don't want to go there."

Well that pretty much settles it. If we lose, he is out.

I fully expect to see post Hurney firing (Bears game last year) Rivera this week. In your face, fierce, on the edge...leather jacket, black shades, hell maybe even throw on the black toboggan.

Will be fun to watch.

Why do some of you find it okay to bash the players that underperform to no end and celebrate when they get cut but feel bad for the guy who's holding the whole team back?

I hate it for him because he seems like a great guy. However, it's a move that needs to be made.

Ron Rivera= Nice guy just not HC material because of his decision (or lack thereof) making.. Add Shula to the mix with

Cam sailing passes and you have the formula to lose games and get coaches fired.

I just Googled, "Ron Rivera job security gif" and bam!  There it was.

Funny, I get the same gif when I type in, "Ron Rivera 4th quarter gameplan".

That alone shows you the lack of urgency that envelops his tenure here... after starting last season in an underwhelming fashion and making historically bad mistakes in games that were the difference between winning and losing, he was still smug in his answers to similar questions. BUT NOW, he feels the heat and it's an uncomfortable question to deal with? Well, glad you were able to half-heartedly use my team as your guinea pig in this trial run, Ron.

Genuine guy, but his time here is over.

I'm sure he felt that way for the most part when DG was hired.

He will have a job as soon as he is ready to work again.
