I know it's the third week of the season and this thread could be locked but I seriously don't care.  This dude is everything I dream of in our next head coach, I seriously can't even fathom what he'd do with Cam.  Cam would be a top 3 weapon in the league under Sumlin.  UNfortunately JR is a fuging dumbass when it comes to hiring coaches so the chances of him spending a lot of $$$ and ceding full personnel control to a young, flashy college coach is probably less than 1 but for now I'm holding out hope.  Anyone else dreaming of this dude?

I don't really dream of dudes but I'd take Sumlin as a coach.

I'd take a three day old tuna melt as a coach at this point though.

I would be interested to see how his offense translates to the NFL.

If we are that Guinea pig then great.

If I were a owner of a NFL team I wouldn't give full personnel control to any head coach not named Bill Belichick

His offense plays perfectly to our QB's skillset.  Then holy poo imagine Lee, Watkins, or hell even just a starting OT in the draft.  OUr offense would be right back on the fast-track.

i would love him too but he says stanford is his dream job.  i see sumlin much more inclined to leave for the nfl than shaw especially since manziel is probably gonna go pro after this season

Belichick hasn't been too hot with personnel decisions either. There's a reason GMs exist.
