I stand corrected but point stands. Great job team

Don't let the facts get in the way of the point you're making. Which is what again?

Anyone knows when a franchise hits the third win with a new QB after he throws an interception it is lights out from then on.

First games when the season still matters anyway.

Gotta admit, Cam's matured a lot, he doesn't seem to let the turnovers get to him as much.

When your defense is gaining yardage by stuffing the other team for negative gains, there is no reason to get flustered.  Cam played better, but the defense won this game.  In my opinion, Cam needs to get better.  I am pretty sure most people measure Cam's maturity when the chips are down, not when we are winning, but I see your point.  He came back.

The thing I liked about Cam's performance the most?  He found Lafelll and Ginn.

I'm pretty sure we would win a game when Cam throws 4 picks as long as the defense posts a shutout.

Not necessarily... Could just be a tie :P

Cam played better, but the defense won this game.

Meh.

The offense helped the defense out with multiple scoring drives, many of them long and demoralizing to the Giants.

You'd have a point if the offense hadn't score like, 38 points.  But meh.  This was a full team effort and I dislike any attempt to claim one side of the ball or the other "won" the game, because when you hang 38 on a team your offense is balling, and when you shut out a team, your defense is balling, so when you dismantle a team the way we did, let's just give credit to both of the units equally and say the team won this game.

Agreed. Though I'm not terribly surprised MHS isn't willing to give the offense much credit. He's gone out of his way to not even bring up or revisit all the silliness he passionately typed about Cam leading up to the game.

How many points did the offense have to score to win the game?  Did the defense create points off turnovers?  If the created more than 1, then they won the game.   If the offense did not need to score 38 points, then the offense did not win the game by scoring 38;   While the 38 points was impressive, it did not win the game--the defense did.  The reason the offense scored 38 was due to the defense giving them multiple chances and field position.  Any person of average intelligence knows that.

If a baseball team scores 10 runs but their pitcher throws a no-hitter, are you going to credit the offense for winning the game?  You are just trolling.

Anyone who types Meh in a response is a dxxx anyway.

Red, you are clueless, and if you ever agreed with a point I made, it would embarrass me to a point where I would re-examine my position.

Anyone who does not think the defense won the game is probably accustomed to missing obvious points in other aspects of their lives, so I am not going to explain the simple logic to someone who lacks the ability to grasp it.
