I get tired of the same "What did you expect them to say responses", we have some of the most passive fans in the NFL. If this we were the Saints beating the Giants like that, they would have talked about how good the Saints were ALL DAMN WEEK.

To clarify about my post:

This wasn't so much about what the NY media thinks of us because it is quite obvious who they care more about covering.

My whole point was I hope they continue to overlook the Panthers because I do believe that if the players see what we see then maybe they will continue this spark.

I remember when Jim Morra's Saints walked into BOAS and got shredded so bad he got fired that Monday (see Diddly Poo Presser). Now I'm hearing about how Tom Caughlin is too old to coach and how he's out after this year.

Ass kickings like the one we gave the Gmen always result in aftershocks. It took us weeks to get over that beatdown TC gave us last year. I was elated to see that Ron had circled this game in red, and got those guys fired up to play.

I've even found myself thinking that we may have actually overlooked the Bills as we prepped for this game.

I'm not worried that the national media types haven't caught on to what is happening in CLT.

They most always get it wrong and are always late.

If you listen to the "xpurts" the Broncos are Super Bowl bound, the Giants scored 28 on their defense (and we allowed none) and allowed 41 (we got 38 and slacked up on them).

But you won't find any slack jawed mouth breather from ESPN doing that comparison..

If we had beat the Bills, And Dwill doesn't get the ball punched out the media would be talking about us as one of the best teams. But we lost those games and it doesn't matter by how much.

Hmm, a NY Giants insider making excuses for the Giants? Shocking.

I don't know about you, but imo it's no knock against a RB for them to amass yards while milking the clock in a blowout (not that it was necessarily the case). It sounds something like this: "Yeah, that RB sucks. He got most of his yards when the defense knew he would be running the ball and were able to be hyper-aggressive in attempting to stop the run. He doesn't deserve credit for getting yards in that situation since it is obviously so much easier to get yards when the defense knows exactly what you're doing."

You mean Williams only got yardage when everyone in the stadium knew we were going to run the ball? That should be a plus and not a negative.

Yeah it's not like Deangelo, Cam, and Tolbert were running it down the Giants throats in the first half or anything.
