Why would they want this trade?

they have no running game. you could blame it partially on the o-line. but wilson has been poo.

Why would you trade a player under contract for a guy who's going to be a free agent next offseason anyway?

Stewart has all the tools in the world but unfortunately I don't think his ankles will allow him to demonstrate them.

this trade would never happen.

the giants don't pay big money to running backs.

Do it! I'd even add a 3rd.

But the Cowboys-Bills deal just don't make sense: Byrd/Jackson for Escobar.

I'd rather do the Cleveland/Lions or SF/Titans trade.
Stewart for Gordon or a 4th for Britt.

A good idea, I like it. I don't think that it will happen though. I think that there are too many variables. But if was or is doable, I'm in.

D-Will and J-Stew will retire as Panthers. I don't care we are paying them trillions of dollars.

Then we are a poorly run franchise....

How would that work? Your telling him could we please get some of our money back before we kick you out the door to the Giants? Yeah no way any NFL player worth anything would agree to that.

players redo their contracts for trades pretty often. Try paying attention.

Just a FYI, JStew's signing bonus wouldn't accelerate this season. The dead money cap hit would be the exact amount it's already counting toward the cap (and we'd remove his base salary so we'd actually end up with more cap space). The remaining amount on the signing bonus would accelerate towards next season.

it would accelerate if he was traded.

There's a reason why Douchshek named himself the Uniform Monitor. It's the only thing about football that he is marginally adequate at.

95% of the comments at the bottom are calling DD a fool.  Then, he gets sassy with them.  What a jackass.  Glad to see everyone else thinks he's just as big of a tool as we do.

The subject was signing bonus. It's already in Stewart's pocket. You cannot make that dead money go away through re-negotiation.

I think he was paying attention just fine.
