In the old days...Reagan proved he'd fire an entire union if he found they did wrong things.  Nowadays...with dem presidents in bed with federal worker's unions...it's no big deal to use this as a huge PITA.

I think the more pertinent thing to pull away from the Reagan presidency in this case is the manner in which he made deals with terrorists groups (as well as arming them or running away from them).

Just one that shows Reid selected conference committee members and a picture showing the table where they conduct the meeting.

Remember when you're a Conservative, you never have to accept personal responsibility - Rape is the woman's fault, racism is the minorities fault, and Republican led shutdowns are the Democrats fault.

Remember when you're a LIEberal, you never have to accept personal responsibility - Rape is the socioeconomic situation of the perp's fault, racism is the minorities fault unless said individuals hold conservative ideals...in which fark them, and Republican led shutdowns while a Democrat is president is proudly defined as the Rs fault despite having 1/3 of the power in Washington by a willing media (thanks for admitting this Halperin).

Cool...I see that there was a conference committee request caveat regarding it having to be a long term budget...I'd like to know more.

Is it bad that the African American population voted? How is it racist that citizens did their civic duty?

That is a good point.  Lets get the AA population really paying attention so they may realize the chains the democrats, of all colors, place them in.

What about all those people that voted for McCain and Romney because of race?

I thought the whole point of this process is for something to be analyzed, voted on by many different entities, and ultimately accepted or rejected based on the majority of votes, not kick and scream when you don't get your way and start sabotaging the federal system

Hopefully less and less. Surely less than the other.

I do not know your situation. We can talk.  I know it's hard to come to grips with this.
