Welp, a lesson learned by the NFL thanks to the Bucs...

Disciplinarians generally have short shelf lives in professional sports.

Even good football minds like Parcells would generally wear out his welcome within 2-3 seasons.

Being a red ass as a coach is overrated anyway and unless you have credibility (i.e. Super Bowl rings) it usually backfires sooner rather than later.

Schiano has done a terrible job of handling "men" down there in Tampa, but I wouldnt be talking much. Football wise, we're not much of an upgrade to Tampa.

When searching for a head coach to turn around a losing mentality...

don't go looking for the finest football mind New Jersey has to offer...

lol, what a tool. They need to fire everyone in the entire hiring process of this guy.

but I thought Johnny Rockets was the greatest football mind New Jersey had to offer?

he treats professional athletes like 18 year olds. Imagine being a grown man and being treated like a child. He hasn't adapted his interpersonal skills to the professional game.

That idiot is undefeated vs the Panthers.

You can thank our own Polite, respectful, but similarly over matched Resident Idiot coach for that one.

But yeah. It does burn you, when you see Tampa Bay lose to everyone else, except the Panthers.

Coughlin had to back down to not only get through to the guys, but to keep the team on his side.

Bellicheat isn't as militant as he is just weird. What helps him out, in addition to his resume, is that the vets on the team have bought in and set the tone.

Didn't Tampa Bay Win a Superbowl (along with going to the playoffs recently under Morris)?  :startle:

Plus, I think he was taking about the Panthers own current Glass House/Head Coaching situation.

I'm referring to the Franchise's entire history as compared to us... I'd have to say we've done waaaay better then they ever did in such a short time frame. Yes as far as Super Bowl even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometime.

Four seasons with a winning record isn't "waaaaaay" better than anything.
