Panther Nation! Want to help some fellow fans/ soldiers out?

Best Answer Kurb, 02 October 2013 - 11:37 AM

We can do this a couple diff ways.

Everyone can send individual things OR I can collect things at a tailgate or some such and send a big Huddle Care package.

You kids decide.

Years & years ago, on another board, there was a navy medic from Georgia stationed with marines at boot camp. Only Panther fan in his unit. We teamed up for ff because he knew he was being deployed to Iraq that fall & needed someone to keep his ff team going. I sent him a care package that included a growl towel and a poster and a few other small items that he could take with him. I wish I could find the pic he sent me once he put the stuff up. It's probably all in his attic now lol. We're still friends. He's an egomaniac, still in service to our country, but I still love him. :abe:

Thank you for your service, PiA! Maybe I won't be unemployed by the time we get the address and I can send something. That would be nice!

No, thank you GR I really appreciate it. I never know what to say haha

I definitely have at least 4 quality hats that I'd be willing to part with. Old logo, but I've hardly worn them. Thank you for your service!

No sir, thank YOU! I appreciate it. I would love some hats!

Anything in particular? Doesn't have to be Panther's related. I have 2 cousins overseas and I'll send them anything from boardgames to Skoal.

I got a couple of old logo panthers armband sweat bands I never wore. Like forearm ones. They'd look badass as a complement to some army fatigues. They're black and blue with the logo. Some Panthers rubber dog tags to if irony is your thing.

I know some of my soldiers could always use some licky chewies and/or dip and Gatorade mix

Hahaha please do. I actually have no clue whether or not it's free to ship to an APO. Good question.

No, its not free.

It is free for PiA to send letters (not packages) from APO* to the US.
but everything going to APO is still normal post. even APO to APO packages aren't free anymore.

Also it has to be under 50 lbs.

*only applies to combat zone APO addresses
