Weak of heart go away, my ride (however bumpy) remains hitched to Cam and we'll see in 15 years.

I just hope the new HC tells him to chill with the first down celebration. That thing is just embarassing at this "point".
It was getting to me last year. Now I wish he was doing it and the TD celerations more. God our offense sucks.

we need an offensive minded head coach. our d can handle itself.

As I said in another thread, we need to surround him with people who can make him look better than he really is until he is good enough to make them look better than they really are

His surrounding cast is getting weaker every year
What type of formula is that for a young QB to be successful....
I can't pie this enough. Look at what other teams with young QBs have done to support their guy....

Trying to word this right, but I don't really care about winning a SB right now, I am more worried about showing progress, winning games, and reaching/striving for the playoffs.
While I think that Cam should be here long term, and I believe he can be a good QB in this league, he is not showing enough improvement week to week, year to year.
When he was drafted I was nervous about him being raw, but I was willing to give him a couple of years to get better. We should have done a better job with the GM and coaches, but at some point the players have to show improvement.
Maybe Cam has improved, and I'm not seeing it.

according to the conventional wisdom prior to the 2011 draft 2013 should have been cam's first year as a possible starter.
the huddle armchair GMs would have released or traded brees in the middle of his third season so...

It is s progress of fits and starts.
Cam is no different and he shouldn't be expected to progress faster than other QBs in NFL history.
He is on a good trajectory. But you still have to be patient as an organization and support him and protect him
