We can franchise him, but Hurney keeps screwing us from the unemployment line.  Yes, CJ has (arguably) earned his $$, but at the time he was a 1-hit wonder and we had only one team interested in him--cap-strapped Atlanta.  We could have offered him about $8 million per year and sealed the deal.

Alexander needs to play.  If we do not re-sign Hardy, we can bring in a top WR or a few top OL.  We have bigger needs than DE, even if Hardy is gone.

If that is the case, I'm hoping we bring Nzegwu back and Horton continues to develop then.

He has 3 sacks in 4 games, all coming against the WORST offensive line in the league.

When he shows up against a half decent line, let me know.

I really think Hardy is valuable, but not at $12 million per season.  DEs are great, but yesterday, Hardy was against a backup LT.  Crickets.

Charles Johnson

Frank Alexander

Wes Horton

Mario Addison

---not bad if they continue to get better--remember, Johnson and Hardy were not great their first two years.

For a guy in a contract year and demanding so much money he sure disappears pretty often.  Not to mention he isn't getting double teams probably because of CJ.

I don't know what Alexander has done to get in the doghouse, but he didn't even get a jersey yesterday.  Not sure if he's the answer to letting Hardy walk.

We should be negotiating hard right now with Hardy and if we can't come to terms, we should just put him on the block and take what we can get for him before the trade deadline.

    • There are literally MILLIONS of Muslims living in this country.  You know them.  They are your neighbor, your co-workers, your fellow students. The vast majority of them live peacefully.  And I would point out that Christian America are bombing them and killing them too. I'm not saying we are the problem, but we kill them for killing us so they kill us for killing them and it is just a never-ending cycle of retaliations. When we celebrate killing 30 ISIS people  here but to them they are just family and friends.  To us they are evil doers on the other side of the world.  To them it just a fraternity of brotherhood. I don't know what the answer is.  It is FUBAR.  But don't villainize a religion over the actions of a few.  The "average" Muslim isn't the people carrying out these attacks anymore than the average white is a white supremacist attacking minorities. Compassion and empathy isn't weakness it is strength.
    • As great as Cam is, he will never live up to Geno Smiths career! How dare anyone in the past question weather Cam was better than Geno! How fugin stupid were they?!?
    • ... Probably when all, or at least most of, 1.whatever billion of them start carrying out terror attacks.
