Was about to post here to say that.  You see guys out there busting their ass in losses like we saw Sunday and they'll take the first ticket out of town.

BUT...BUT...BUT...THE PLAYERS LOVE CHICO

You people have ZERO idea about what he was offered.

4 years/ 32 mil??

That tells us nothing.

Perhaps:

Gettle: Ok, best I can do, 4 years, 32 mil, 8 mil guaranteed.

Hardy:  WUT? NO WAYS

Point being we have no idea of the details of the contract.

You are right 'slow', it's all based on conjecture.  I think part of it (declining a fair offer b/c he thinks too much of himself) is that it fits him.

I hope he is smart in regards to taking what is fair, but in all honesty, we need to see what else we have the rest of this year.  We need a lower budget option b/c we have greater needs.

thank god.  this dude doesn't deserve an 8m per deal.  let him walk and test the market, he's a good player but nothing more.  we'll hardly miss him.  i'd give him 6m a year at most

where has Alexander been?  yes, I know he stupidly tried to punch someone, like 4 weeks ago.  last year he was our #3 DE, I'm supposed to believe he regressed in such a short time?

i think alexander can be very good but he got heated one game and made a bad decision so rivera is done with him.

I don't think he busted his ass. Hell, he looked like he wasn't even playing at times.

He's too much of a risk. As a fan, I love the attitude. But I'm not a gm. That's not my call and we're not in a posiotion to give him much more.
