Cam isn't elite. He is a good QB who isnt good enough to mask all other offensive deficiencies.

But there has probably never been an elite QB after just 20 games, 24 years old, and limited major college experience.

If Cam some how ends up on another team, I hope he becomes first ballot hall of fame worthy.  Would serve us right.

I don't understand your point...

tom brady was a 3x pro bowler, 3x super bowl champion, and already considered a hall of famer before welker or moss put on a patriot uniform.

wayne, harrison, and clark were all products of peyton manning.

thomas, decker, and welker are better now because of manning.

it doesn't matter if they were good beforehand, average, or flat outright bad...an elite qb makes his recievers better. period.

Shut the fug up.

Like seriously you're literally saying all WRs are going to be good as long as an elite QB shits skill into them. That a Quaterback is going to have to do everything on his own.

It's like losses here breed the largest, most ignorant idiots around holy poo.

Is Cam perfect? No, but he is an amazing quaterback. He does need help thou. And to say that he doesn't is fuging asinine. No qaterback anywhere, elite or not, can't work without recivers without a considerable degree of talent

And the factthat you think Peyton Manning just made all those receivers good himself like they have no semblance of talent is just honestly baffling and amazing.

Elite QBs can't make every WR better. Elite QBs can make recivers better yeah, but they can't make an Armanti Edwards into a Reggie Wayne.

Sit the fug down.

If we are making comparisons to elite QBs now, Brady who is a much better QB than Cam, is having trouble masking his team's obvious offensive deficiencies and Brady scored just as many points as Cam did on Sunday.

Brady is way better than Cam. Not even close. And if he can't do it why are we expecting it out if a youngster who is still green and learning?

Fun Fact: Coaches don't mean poo. They don't help WRs lay to their strengths, only QBs. QBs make the scrubbiest of scrubs into all pros.

Let's compare Cam to Peyton

since we're on the topic, rodgers also rode the bench for what, three full seasons before he got the start?

brees was hot garbage into his third year too.  despite what passes for conventional wisdom a quarterback's development even in the best of circumstances tends to not be perfectly linear.

if cam winds up on another team that knows what to do with him, it's going to make the pain of the peppers fiasco feel like a blowjob

The problem IS Cam not the O line. Packers 2012 O line was abysmal and Rodgers was one of the most sacked QBs in the league and his QB rating was still 108 and he had 39 TD passes. What more is it going to take before we realize Cam is not and never will be elite. Even Jay Cutler plays pretty solid under a abysmal O line. Dont get me wrong, our O line is terrible but so was the Packers. Elite QBs perform well in spite of bad O line play.

Cam Newton doesn't play with McCarthy's scheme or receivers.

Let's compare Cam to Peyton

Peyton Manning in his fourth year as a pro and starter was 6-10 and had a 4.2 INT % which is higher than any Cam year including this season so far.

Is that what you mean?
