Slowly but surely,DG is clearing the barn of Hurneys contracts, failed experiments, and broken players.Maybe he isnt JR's puppet as was suspected.Expect this to continue untill the house is cleaned...good luck Armanti.

Just how different is Gettleman from Hurney?

We still having glaring holes on our roster. If we sign three nobody's to fill those spots that will tell us plenty. I hope not.

The only issue I have so far with DG is the drafting of Kugbila and Barner (and maybe AJ Klein) when there were so many other holes. Otherwise he has gotten rid of dead weight QUICKLY, fixed some of the cap problems and done OK in freee agency.

Hopefully as he gets more freedom and money he will do very well.

Way to early to tell.

How's DG different?

He only been here 9 months.

Yet we have like what, $18 million in cap space, and a make shift struggling o line that just lost another starter?

and in those 9 months he has fixed almost 75% of the problems Hurney took 10 years to create.  Pretty neat huh?

Who would you have selected with those picks and how are those players doing today?

Dead Season Walking, dude.

Doesn't make it right.

We could have fired Rivera in the offseason and gotten it over with. JR didn't want to pay two coaches at once though.

    • I'll admit, I've been on the Funchess sucks wagon from pretty much the beginning. Didn't understand the pick, didn't like the pick, and have seen very little since then to change my mind. Still hoping he'll wake up, but honestly don't expect it. With KB, I liked the pick. Pretty much gave him a pass for last season coming off the ACL, but if this dude shows up out of shape to camp again... hot damn. He still has plenty of time to show up to camp in excellent shape, but he definitely needs to start doing a better job of taking care of himself year round. The older he gets, the harder he'll find it becomes to work those off-season pounds off.
