I doubt we get Lucile next season. MAYBE at the very end of the season he'll show up but I really doubt it.

What is next season gonna consist of then? Only

Spoiler
? Because I think it's safe to say that the rest of this season will probably be The Hunters arc (at least, I think) and then the season finale hints at the spoiler tag I put here earlier.

I see Lucile being brought in as the midseason finale of next season, because there isn't THAT much story to go over to put it off for long.

No they are gonna go to some place and stand around and argue/get overly emotional for another couple seasons and then maybe we'll get something of substance...

How many seasons do you see the show getting? Obviously there's material still being written, and ratings are still high, but I can't see them going beyond a seventh season or so. Breaking Bad and Mad Men both ended/will end around this mark, but both also had an end date in sight.

Especially with the spin-off, I can't see TWD nearing 10 seasons and still having the same following. Especially if/when major characters like Daryl for instance are potentially killed off.

How many seasons did Breaking Bad get?  I see it being similar to that in terms of popularity and following.

5. With the 5th being broken up into 2 parts.

But, there was an obvious end game in sight there as well. With so much material already written for TWD, and it being AMC's only popular show once Mad Men ends, they may continue pushing it for seasons beyond their plan to keep the network afloat if some of their future stuff crashes and burns.

Yeah, it may get more, but I doubt it will see less than that.

it's got to be a cash cow for them with the ratings they're getting.
