FWIW:

I was watching some of the horror movies AMC has been running, and I saw this TWD thing... I dunno if it was a promo or an actual upcoming scene from this season... But... It was Rick, Michonne, Maggie, Glenn, Carol, and Sasha... and they were standing in the prison yard at night, around a couple piles of bodies, with almost defeated looks on their faces... I don't recall seeing the scene yet this season... But with Michonne being there, one has to assume that it is after her crew returns from the antibiotic run... Also, Glenn and Maggie are kinda close, so you have to assume that they're comfortable about the virus at this point.

I know the rule about they "bury the living" but burn the dead, but a virus might make them change their mind about that policy. (Plus, they've kinda hinted at digging graves getting old, and Rick did burn the pig sty because of the virus)

Could be a good sign for my spoilers... lol...

EDIT: Found the vid...

Stuff like this actually makes me more excited than the actual show has at times lol

If Daryl dies, AMC should go ahead and cancel that 5th season.

I get the whole "Daryl dies and the show will suck" thing that seems to permeate throughout the fanbase of the show....but it really is stupid. Daryl WILL die at some point. Accept that, people. Honestly, I hope he doesn't die until after they get to their next "settle" spot and they switch the EPIC and heartbreaking death of one main character with Daryl (and those who've read the comics may know what I mean...it involves Lucille....). Feel like it'd be a tough one to swallow.

Though, they may kill him just before they leave the prison. Either way, as long as they give him one of those heartbreaking scenes, I'll be fine with it. He has to die a hero, given his character.

If people stop watching because Daryl is dead, then I find that incredibly silly.

I am quite happy that Carol is gone. She's always annoyed me throughout the show.

when Daryl dies it's going to be hilarious. I like the guy and all but this is the walking dead and in the walking dead every character you care about dies. The butthurt fangirls will make it an epic event though. If I had to choose his death I'd make him die the way Tyreese dies in the comics. As a Tyreese fans that killed me to read/see so I'd love to inflict that pain on the legion of Daryl fangirls.

Yeah Daryl needs to go.  It's silly to stop watching if he gets taken out, that's how this show/story rolls.  It would show that the writers aren't afraid of taking chances and therefore there is a real worry about characters.  It is needed in a GOOD show.    Check Game of Thrones.   That is probably not the last we see of Carol though, but I thought it was a bit hypocritical for Rick (who stepped down as leader) to judge her based on making a quick choice when he does the same thing banishing her and not discussing it with the group.  I guess he "saved" her from Tyreese possibly but I'm not sure.  Rick is kind of a moron.

Last night was a little better to me...

I have to reserve judgement about the whole Carol thing until it fleshes out completely...

What do you think became of Sam?

my biggest gripe with this show is the fact that the characters often make retarded-ass choices without the viewer being presented with even the assumption that they've thought through the other very obvious choices already. for instance, rick could've said "just don't do it anymore" and that would've at least presented the most plausible solution, but instead they both ignore it completely, confounding every iota of logical sensibility and assuming the audience is too dumb to notice or care.

i get that this entire premise of this show requires a suspension of belief to a certain degree, but it's episodes like that that annoy me when i really just want to be as enthralled as i was during season one.

the acting and dialogue were really flat during that scene.  i think that was the problem, not what rick decided to do with carol

Agreed. I tuned out the situation, almost completely missed what was happening, all because it was such a dull scene.
