Three hunters were within their rights when they killed a rare albino moose last week in the Nova Scotia wilderness.

Disgusting.

I am never sad to hear about accidents happening to hunters.

I don't have any larger a problem with this than with any other hunting activity.

I'm not a hunter, and I couldn't kill an animal like this myself for sure, but I don't wish random people hurt, so that's a little over the top... but, I don't condone hunting for sport.  If you're going to kill an animal and feed your family, fine... otherwise my opinion is that it's stupid.

While this is sad and could be called poor judgement, things like Deer hunting actually helps the population of Deer.

I don't wish anyone to get hurt, but I feel don't feel sorry for them in the least.

Oh I agree hunting helps the deer population unless we reintroduce direwolves

While legal it just shows the lack of good judgement most gun owners possess.

While somewhat rare to see an albino moose or deer...I think if you're going to hunt/fish on indian gamelands you must abide by their customs.  There once was a white deer in Garner that was seen all the time and they even named a park after it and painted a mural with it included in a restaurant in Garner.  If a hunter happened to bag it...I'd have to honestly say so what.  But there's no religous association placed on the Garner white deer....I'd need to know more about the advertising and knowledge of this being an "spirit moose".  Sometimes people make crap up.

there are plenty of albino white tails out there not very uncommon - unrelated to the story though- I"m just saying.  They arn't extremely common and most of them are both brown and white/ rare to fine solid white ones.

If they hunt for "sport" and the "adrenaline rush" why do they use high powered rifles and hide like weasels? If you wanna make a sport out of it jump out of a bush butt ass naked and charge it with a 4" pocket knife.
