Just thinking about this -

Last year we travel to Kansas City, it's Jovan Belcher the day before the game.

This year Giants come right after Tom Caughlins brother dies a few days before the game.

This year we travel to Minnesota, its Adrian Petersens son two days before the game.

Are we off the scale on this kind of stat or do I just not pay enough attention around the league?

Didn't the Buc's kicker's (Mike Prater I think) son die of SIDS the week we played them a few years ago?

To give an answer though, there at A LOT of personnel in the NFL.

Al Davis, Junior Seau, Chris Henry, Torrey Smiths brother etc all are recent with no ties to the Panthers.

It was Matt Bryant, and yeah, I think it was right before our game.

Andy Reid had a bad cheesesteak the day before the NFCCG. It's not just a recent thing with us.

"A" bad cheesesteak, out of the six he ate for lunch that day?
