Speed doesn't explain leaving a dude wide open in the end zone for a three yard pass.

Refer back to the first sentence in my post to explain that one.

Negative. Norman is just too bad and can't be trusted.

Thomas needs some S help. He is good at too many other things for Norman to take over

Norman struggle in a zone. Its certain coverages when to play, when not to play

If Norman goes to a team and they let him play man, bump coverage the way he likes to do, we'll regret it

In fact we need to stop playing so much zone in the 1st place

He doesn't "bump coverage." He plays 10 yards away.

I like him and I hope he rebounds, but he's got some work to do.

He's a lot like Hardy to me. A lot of raw talent, needs time, confidence and coaching.

Lets just start changing up the core concepts of our top 5 defense because you say so. Thats a brilliant plan. What did Jim Johnson know about defense anyway?

That Quick deepball was either bad design or blown help. You don't give a man 1 on 1 with a 15 point lead in the second half. The Tavon Austin deepball was a foul to. Tavon broke JTs momentum with a shove to the back and then it was called back for tripping anyways.

I say let's roll with Dockery and White w/ Capt. in at nickel

that gets you 2 CBs on the outside that are 6'1" and can handle the bigger receivers

We're top 5 cause of front 7 and the emergence of one S. Our CB struggle, and we run zone to hide their defiencies. One penalty and a dropped TD pass, the Rams was right there with us. In fact we lost to Seattle cause of them as well as Buffalo cause of that b.s zone coverage

I think this just furthers the point that we need to address the #1 CB position in either the draft or in free agency.

You get beat deep some when you are aggresive...when JT gives up a TD it takes 4 seconds... Norman gives you 5 12 yard catches on third downs and a short TD pass on a drive that lasts 8 minutes. Still 7 points SuperJ.

The safety clearly jumped an underneath route.  It was not the corner back's fault on that play.

Second this. Strongly. Anyone who thinks Drew Brees won't exploit this is crazy. I'm just hoping our run game will be stout to limit his chances and we can tighten enough in the red zone to force some FG.

Our D is stout no doubt and Mitchell has been a revelation, but our CB's overall are still poo.

I really really really hope you both aren't advocating that we start Lester at corner like it seems that you're doing, because if so, you're both fuging morons.
