Man, bummer. Seemed like a good kid. Odd play - I watched it about 5 times and never saw his knee buckle or anything. It may help our WC chances but you should never have to depend on someone else's injury to be successful. Just win games against teams you should beat. Wish him a speedy recovery.

uh that's what football is. hit the qb hard to rattle him.

quinn did nothing wrong. it was the trash talking afterwards that got people pissed.

No, football is not intentionally hitting the QB after he hands the ball off.

Legal or not that was a dirty and dangerous play. Blindsiding a player and drilling him in the back when he is just standing up.

Regardless, I loved seeing low key, even tempered Jordan Gross standing up for Cam and going after Quinn.

For what? Hitting Cam on an option play? That's legal FYI

A big reason you dont want to over do it at this level.

Lol....its the perfectly acceptable way to defend the option. Watch a college game.

he got hit at the same time he was handing the ball off. every panther player said it was a legit hit. It was the taunting and shit talking that got the panthers upset.

and i agree about Jordan, him and cam are good buds

As someone who has torn an ACL, that sucks.

And the rehab is worse than the injury.

Jordon Gross is good buds with every teammate he has ever had.  He is a consummate professional.

No for being a dirty team that throws punches. You get what you put in.

sucks for him and them.

i still can't figure out how he hurt it, tho. all i saw was him getting tripped up on the grass. thought it would be an achilles or something from the way he tripped and fell.

He planted his leg right before Mitchell pushed him. So when he was pushed his upper body twisted forward and his leg stuck in the grass. His knee buckled and twisted.

It was a freak accident, ACLs usually happen without contact. (unless you are getting whipped around like Bob)
