I love it. It's been 5 years since we could say, as late as Week 7, that we're still in the hunt.

Oh, and Steve Smith is Pure Badass. Here's his message to Janoris Jenkins (and by association the Panthers' message to the Rams), which was delivered loud and clear with today's win:

I haven't felt this same rush during gameday this late in the season for years. I cannot wait until Thursday, and even though it's a Bucs team that is one of the worst in the NFL right now, it's our chance to get to a winning record, and on prime time.

Hoping the atmosphere and attitude today is the start of a huge run. It's a different feeling, a feeling we haven't had in quite some time. All that means jack poo if we go out and lay an egg Thursday. It feels like we are finally ready though!!

I will say that yesterday's game had me pumped up. Just watching our team get fired up and taking up for each other. I think what really did it for me when Cam started to hype the crowd up saying  "this is our house" Love it

To all the idiots who say they are tired of Steve's antics. F you! Those people are the same fairweather fans who probably have a 2nd and/or 3rd team. If someone talks about my family like that, I'd wanna punch them in the mouth too.

That was a fun game, no doubt.  I wasn't there, but the crowd seemed WAY more into it as well.

Probably the loudest crowd I have been to in the last 4 years.

And very few Rams fans which was refreshing.

Of course it was nowhere near actually full but baby steps.

Was pulling for the Skins and the Bengals yesterday, now Im pretty sure all the wildcard spots have 3 losses, we are right in the mix.

Smitty shut every doubter of his, and a lot of other people up yesterday. The only people left are the ones who never liked him to begin with and they can all get fuged.

I love Smith.   I do get extremely irritated at the drops though...  mainly because we know he's better than that.    LaFell drops some?   I don't care...  I don't expect much of LaFell,  not like I do Smith ,  however unfair that is.      He remains my favorite Panther of all time though.
