Caution is the order of the day. Rams moved up and down the field only to turn the ball over or getting stopped at the goal line.  A more disciplined team would have given us a run for the money.

If TB repeats the strategy the Rams employed and keep the penalties down they could very well win.

Rams had their shots and just couldn't execute. There were guys open deep downfield all game. That's what scares me.

The beat writers from the Tampa Tribune predicted today:

Roy Cummings: Bucs 23-18 "Short work week helps Bucs end long losing streak"

Ira Kaufman: Panthers 21-10 "Bucs O-line will struggle against an elite defense"

An early lead will completely deflate them.

we talking about the Bucs or the Panthers?

FTR - I think Cam goes off tonight. Similar to the Iggles MNF game LY. Cam playing an awful team,  a lame duck coach, and a national audience. Legitimate change for 4-5 touchdowns from him tonight!!!!

'...men in Hazmat suits are following the team around as if it is sheltering E.T. Who knows? It may be.'

This made me laugh out loud.

Sometimes fun to read stuff from the opponent's home paper.  Among what I found there.....

Instead of making their own prediction they use Sports Network.  For the record...I do not think it will be that close.  Bucs are a mess.

Bad teams can still destroy you, if you are over confident.

This game could go in any direction.  I could see everything from a Panthers beat down to a solid Buccaneer victory.  The Bucs are playing loose and having nothing to lose.  They might come up with a couple big turnovers.  Legitimately nervous the Panthers will lose this one.

This is a game where the superior team should walk in and just completely demolish the team in disarray.

If Rivera and Co. find a way to lose this game, in my opinion, it will solidify the opinion that he will never become a good head coach.

If he gets this team to go into Tampa and find a way to win (doesn't have to be a blow-out, just a win), I think it will further solidify the opinion that he is improving and making strides as a head coach.

In my opinion, this game only goes two ways and either way will be a reflection on Rivera (be it good or bad).

i think we put a 2011 style whooping on them.

kick them while they're down.

and just keep kicking.

demoralize them.
