It did look like he started turning his head upfield prematurely. On another note, the basketball block out, and the block the other week when he laid someone out for Lafell were great indicators that he gets it.

Agreed. I like to see a receiver willing to do whatever it takes to get the ball in the endzone. Not just a pass catcher.

Every receiver drops passes.

Until it's consistent, it's not a worry.

You realize that was his first and only drop of the year right?

Historically, I'll concede the point, but as far as this year goes....not so much.

He has dropped more than that. On top of my head he has alligatored two deep passes this year alone. If I say he is good then I have to say LaFell is good as well. Both are avg guys that play roles.

Hated to see him drop the deep one, but love seeing him get the ball in his hands.

He should get four to five looks a game at least on offense.

He is on another level speed wise.

Generally in these stats if the WR touches the ball it is considered a drop.

I don't recall these "alligator arm" plays

With both Lafell and Ginn there seem to be a lot of foggy memories on all these drops.

Ginn is improving and is actually reaching out to catch the passes now.

Like he did when he was coming across the middle in the Tampa game.

He's a keeper.

That's what you get w/Ted Ginn. He has some very inconsostant hands.

Like LaFell, he'll drop a few passes here and there. Overall, he's been very good for our offense this year, excellent FA pickup.

Like it or not he is one of the only breakaway threats we have...sad about our playmakers..Barner is a year away from joining that hopefully.

I would like to see him get some more of LaFell's target. If Ginn's first drop of the year comes in a blowout game I'll take that all day.

LaFell is average in every aspect except blocking.

Smitty is no longer a true WR1.

I'm a little worried that Ginn will want to walk after we inevitably low ball him contract wise, but I hope he can stay on the team for the right price.

He has let at least two balls go threw his arms. Those don't count as drops but should.

Yet another thread where even high count posters are looking a gift horse in the mouth. Look at his targets/receptions/Yds/YAC. Early onset Alzheimer's can be a real bitch even when caused by football experience gained solely on a couch in front of an HDTV drinking too many brewskies.
