Ruff

Zac Stacy is an example of how poorly managed our Rb contracts are.

Rams couldn't punch it in when it mattered. I'll go to war with dlo stew and tolbert in our back field second and goal from the 2 vs. Richardson and Stacey

I think this is more of a problem with their horrendous offensive line and play calling.

Should we mention that San Fran and Seattle both have highly paid running backs?

There is a reason we got Kenjon Barner on the cheap, we are preparing for life after them.

Also people need to stop using guy's who slipped through the cracks as "rules". If anyone knew how good Stacy or Alfred Morris were, they would not have slipped that far.  Just like how everyone complains about skipping over Richard Sherman now that they see what he can do, when 31 other teams skipped over him 5+ times.  Same goes for Tom Brady, who would have been the #1 overall pick.

If we make it to play them in the playoffs you'll be glad we have Williams, Stewart, Tolbert and not Zac fugin Stacey

We are paying both of our guys as much as those two make.

Oh yes, because Stacy is such a better back than Stewart. Sorry, 10 times out of 10, I'm rolling with J-Stew over a fifth rounder who had one great game against a suspect run defense.

Most of the top teams have good RBs if they don't have a super elite QB

Indy- Richardson

KC- Charles

Hawks- Lynch

San Fran- Gore

Cincy- Bernard and Green-Ellis

GB- Lacy

Sure, if you have Peyton or Brees or Brady or Rodgers, then RBs are pretty much inconsequential.  For the rest of the football playing world you need good RBs to be successful.

Does anyone remember how much better we were when we replaced Foster with Williams??
